Ladies Free 3 Day Moto Camp Ride
Ladies! Rev your engines and pack the camping gear! Let's meet up for 3 days of amazing roads, forests, scenery, camping, company and riding!
I just returned from a two day huge ride from Melbourne to Walhalla and up around Thompson's dam, it was too big for two days but will be magnificent for a 3 day ride.
Roads - asphalt, dirt, some easy rocky bits, pot holes and quite a bit of loose gravel. No real tough sections, loose gravel the trickiest but you will be a master by the end of the weekend!
Abilities - all
Bikes - Will suit adventure bikes with 200+KMs fuel range with the ability to carry all your own camping equipment, tools/spares, food and water.
Happy to offer riding tips along the way if you're looking to improve or try new riding techniques.
Day 1
Thinking to have a Friday off work and meet at the Gembrook cafe (Spencer's Store) at 9am for brekky with a 10am departure time.
Ride up through epic asphalt twisties to Baw Baw, then our first taste of dirt/gravel to Rawson/Tyres for fuel, back onto asphalt to Walhalla and camp near there. Stroll around this beautiful little gold rush village in the evening.
Day 2 (Saturday)
Pack up, brekkied & Depart 10am
Straight onto beautiful dirt roads as we ride up through the stunning mountain pass, past Woods Point to see if we can make it to Kevington for the 2nd night camping.
Day 3 (Sunday)
Pack up, brekkied & Depart 10am
Head to Jamieson where the dirt roads end and take the super fun twisties on the southern edge of Lake Eildon, break in Eildon, finish at the Reefton pub. May be close enough for lunch or hold out to do your own lunch afterwards. Reminisce on the adventures had over a cold drink and say our goodbyes till next time!
Must carry enough water for a big day riding, brekky, snacks and lunches (up&go, beans, nuts, fruit, pre packed rolls etc).
